We publish a lot of detail about injectables, peels and skin health, more than most clinics do. That is deliberate, because informed patients make better decisions. But general information written for everybody cannot account for your anatomy, your medical history, your medications or your goals. Only an assessment can.
Cosmetic injectables and medical peels are medical procedures. Before any treatment we take a history, assess your face in person, explain the options, and confirm you are a suitable candidate. Sometimes the outcome of that appointment is that we do not treat you, or we treat something other than what you came in for.
Outcomes depend on your anatomy, skin type, age, health, healing response, aftercare and how many sessions you complete. Before and after images on this site show real results for those individual patients, with their written consent. They are not a prediction of your result, and no one can honestly promise you a specific outcome.
Injectables and peels have known risks, which can include swelling, bruising, tenderness, asymmetry, prolonged redness, changes in pigmentation, infection, and in rare cases more serious complications. Some risks are higher in certain skin tones or with certain histories, which is exactly why depth and product are chosen individually.
The risks relevant to your specific plan will be explained to you, in full, before you consent to anything.
Some conditions, medications, allergies, autoimmune conditions, pregnancy and breastfeeding affect whether a treatment is safe or appropriate. Please be complete and honest with us at your consultation. If you are under the care of a physician for a medical condition, keep them in the loop.
Please do not describe your medical history, medications or symptoms in a website form, an email or a social media message. Those channels are not secure and are not monitored clinically. Bring it to your consultation.
